Testing Principle

YLY-03S Polariscope is an instrument that uses the principle of polarized light interference to inspect internal stress in glass or the birefringence effect in crystals. Equipped with a sensitive tint plate and utilizing the quarter-wave plate compensation method, this instrument can not only qualitatively or semi-quantitatively measure the internal stress in glass based on the interference color sequence in the polarization field, but also accurately measure the numerical value of the internal stress.
